You’ve probably noticed the trend in the industry lately where job training is becoming a more mainstream part of the job hunting process.
This is something I have always wanted to address and I think this is the first time that a lot of job training providers are taking a real look at the issue of training and the benefits that they can provide in order to help job seekers transition into the workplace.
I’ve seen some fantastic job training sessions that have worked for me, some that have not.
For the job seeker that has been unemployed for more than a year, I’ve been able to get a real sense of how they actually do train, and what I find most useful is the fact that they have done all of their homework.
They’ve got all of the relevant skills they need to have in order for them to succeed at their jobs.
For those that have had a couple of months or years of unemployment, I can’t imagine they’re going to be any better prepared to move into the workforce.
I know that there are job boards and recruitment sites out there that will be very helpful to them, but for those that don’t have a job to go into, there are a number of job boards that are a good place to start.
