NEW YORK — The number of voice training courses offered by DSS rose to 1,731 from 1,858 in March, according to data released Thursday by the U.S. Education Department.
In addition to voice training, there are a number of other classes offered by the DSS.
Among the most common are voice recognition and audio visual courses, according the data.
The DSS has expanded the number of classes offered to the DAS community, which includes students from the District of Columbia, the District and all 50 states, the U-S Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
Students who do not have a DSS class can register through the DasAID website and can earn a DAS credential by completing a course in-person or online, according DSS spokesperson Liz Langer.
